This trailer was designed by toddacguy and I. It is designed to still have the use of a flatbed trailer, while serving as a shooting tower that can fit in a standard garage.
We call it the M-STOMP (Mobile – Shooting Tower Observation Multi Purpose). That may or may not sound kinda cheesy, but I got sick of calling it 10 different things. So, it is the M-STOMP.
It is a 10’X5’ flatbed trailer with the deck above and 2 fold down wings on the side that are 2.5’X10’. When expanded, it makes a 10’X10’ deck. There are heavy duty quick-release jacks on all four corners that stabilize the tower. It makes it rock solid to shoot off of. The entire deck is elevated by a crank and a pulley system we designed. The cruddy ladder on the back is just what we are using for now. Outback welding is going to put a designated expandable ladder on the rear of it for us. It gets you 9 foot off the ground in 10 minutes.
You can easily put 4 prone shooters on this tower. This is going to be used for practice, competitions, hog hunting, varmint hunting, game surveys, etc. Basically anywhere you can get your truck or 4-wheeler into, we can yank this trailer in with it and get 9 foot off the ground to be up and over our surroundings.
This shows it folded up and lowered for travel.
The purple cammo on the 4-wheeler is special custom. It makes it worth three times as much.
You can also attach a Quick-Shade to it where it will not come off to make the shooting more comfortable.
The driver side wheel is actually suspended in the air because the road was uneven in this pic. The four jacks completely stabilize the M-STOMP. You can use the tongue jack as a fifth point of contact if needed.
We used it this match a little while ago. You can see there is no movement in the trailer when shooting or repositioning.
This match too.
A view from atop the M-STOMP. It is just the right hight to get you up and out of the mirage for most conditions. It was extremely noticeable today after the straight week of rain we have had.
Anyway, we are pretty proud of it and have gotten a lot of good feedback from it. This will help facilitate a lot of hunting and shooting on inaccessible or difficult land. It’s pretty handy having it as a regular trailer running 70mph down the highway and then deploying it as fast as it does.
We had over 300lb on top of this tower at the same time with no movement, Its a rock solid platform.
We went from only having 178yrds to 588yrds in less than 10min, we could not have shot that far with out it. I think it took us longer to secure the ladder then it did to set the tower up.
Jay and Todd did a kick ass job on this trailer, very well thought out.

I was able to see this go from idea to working platform. I saw the trailer when Jay picked it up and was by to see the progress during the building. Luckily I was able to get Jay to bring it to my last shoot for it's 1st use. Jay used it as a trailer to haul some targets and shooting gear to the match, then he and Justin set it up as a shooting platform in no time. The elevation allowed us to use a powerline right of way for a 600yard stage that because of the terrain, would normally have been about 200 yards or less. I think the trailer/platform gives Jay the ability to make almost any terrain obstacle a non issue. When set up, the platform was sturdy as being on the ground. Walking all over it had no effect on it's stability. It's a well built and sturdy set up. Makes a great addition to Jays equipment. Everyone who has shot off it was impressed. Thanks for bringing it for us to use.

Who ever the designer on this one was really knew their stuff and did a great job with it. I like how you have jacks on each of the corners to set it up on any reasonable ground. Way to go. Being able to put a 4wheeler under it is a kickin idea too. I really like the set up for hunting also where it can be pulled and set up on a feild as well as youing it for range use.
